Science Class Resources

• This blog will be full of resources and information to help students and their families navigate this class!
• Edmodo
• Edmodo is an online social media site for education.  It has great safety protections to ensure that students remain safe and that it is a place for students to talk about school topics with each other and with me, but those outside of the class cannot access it.
• Families will also have a log-in, so that they may monitor anything that their child writes, and you will have access to all that I write to the class and to your child!

• Science notebooks
• All work will be completed and entered into the student's science notebook.  Since these notebooks will be such an important reference material, they will not leave the classroom unless the student gets specific permission from me.
• Anything that a student will need to study will come home separate from the notebook.
• Online text resources
• All students and families will have online access to the textbook and assignments online.  The username and password will be given in class.
• You may also borrow a CD of the textbook from me or the school library and download it onto a home computer.
• Textbooks may be borrowed from the school library.
